The Golden Light Awards is an international competition that recognizes the work of the world's emerging photographers. The Award includes a variety of opportunities for professional and semi-professional photographers, students, educators and amateurs to receive recognition and prizes, as well as tuition grants for Master Classes at The Workshops. The work selected by the Jury is chosen on the basis of exceptional personal vision, high level of craft and a demonstrated passion for imagemaking.

International Photography Awards

IPA conducts two competitions each year-one for professional photographers and one for non-professionals. The fifteen winners of the main categories will compete for IPA's top awards of International Photographer of the Year and Discovery of the Year.
Each year, 40-50 images from both the professional and non-professional pools of first, second, and third place winners will be selected to be exhibited at the prestigious Farmani Gallery in Los Angeles and travel to six other countries, insuring the greatest exposure for the winning photographs.

Moving Walls

Moving Walls is a photographic exhibition series sponsored by the Open Society Institute. The series represents the transitional condition of open societies and the promotion and maintenance of democratic values. The Open Society Institute encourages photographers and artists to submit work of national or international subjects. The selection process is overseen by a committee comprising professional photographers, curators, and OSI staff. Preference will be given to work that coincides with issues and geographical areas that are principally of concern to OSI.
